Greenhouse is the leading hiring software company. They help the world’s smartest and most successful organizations hire great people. Long a household name for many fast-growing tech companies and start-ups, Greenhouse’s previous identity had served them well. But with a goal to grow internationally and up market, they needed a new identity that enabled their ambitions.
The brand platform was built around the central idea of confidence to take on what’s next – because you know you can find and hire the right people. The visual identity was evolved to be cleaner, brighter, lighter and more modern. The logo was made more contemporary, more connected and improved readability at small sizes. The color palette was updated to be more bold, consistent, and accessible on screens.
Greenhouse has always used plants and botanicals in their identity and has built equity in that motif. For this brand refresh, we created a new, more distinctive approach. Fingerprints were incorporated with leaf shapes and then combined with botanical imagery to create unique combinations.
The new identity and messaging were the foundation used to reimagine every touchpoint: Greenhouse’s website was rebuilt for a better user and brand experience, with a focus on lead generation. Thought leadership and sales collateral were refreshed and updated. The product interface evolved to reflect the new branding. And the brand continues to be used as a framework to improve every aspect of the Greenhouse customer experience.
